It's hard to believe sometimes that we are already in November. Last night I saw not one, not two, but three houses with Christmas lights up and on already. Come on people let's try to enjoy some fall weather and some rain before we put up the lights, okay? Okay, that's all for ranting today :]

Anyway, I just wanted to share with you some pictures from when my friends and I recently went down to Carmel for the night. We walked down into town and had a really nice dinner, then came back and played games and watched a movie before bed. In the morning when we woke up it was the most beautiful day you could ever imagine. We walked back into town for some breakfast at this amazing little cafe then kept walking down to the beach. As you can see a lot of other people had the same idea as the beach was so crowded! It was the perfect overnight get away with friends after working all week.

surf's up!

So now that you have seen my snow pictures... it's time to head back to the beach! This time it was time for a surf session. Not for me this time, the water was way too cold but the boys got their boards and wet suits and were ready for action. I decided to stay and be the designated photographer and stay dry and catch some sun. The waves were huge as it is almost time for Mavericks, one of the big surf competitions. Those waves can get up past 40 feet, the ones we were dealing with her only about 8 - 10. Hah, only. Anyways, here are some pictures I snapped while they tried to ride these crazy waves.
