my weekend in photos

This weekend was a basket of mixed emotions. First we celebrated my dad's birthday with a really nice dinner on Friday night. Then I went to spend some time with one of my friends before he moves across the country {today :[ .. bye mike} Then it was Easter! I made an adorable Easter basket, had an incredible brunch then went to go buy Portal2 the video game. If I don't blog for awhile.. you know why! :]

Friday, Friday, it's Friday!

Day twenty-seven - a photo of somewhere you want to travel to

We made it my friends, the weekend is finally upon us! I am looking forward to hopefully some relaxation and some sunshine in my forecast. What are your plans for the weekend?

There are a lot of places that I someday hope to travel to and even though my feet have landed in seven countries I have such a desire to see so many places and experience such different cultures. I still hope to hit France, the Netherlands, Portugal, Germany, Japan, St. Barts, Argentina, Croatia, Thailand... you get the idea. I'd have to say my hotspot right now that I really hope to get to in the next couple years would be Greece and specifically Crete the island just south of it in the middle of the Mediterranean.

Day 26

Day twenty-six - a photo of your day

Unfortunately I don't have anything to exciting to share with you all on a Monday toThursday basis because I am at work all day and then when I get home I am so tired I usually just have dinner, watch t.v and get ready for the next day.

Today however, I found this little surprise as I got to my car so it made my morning a little brighter. Boyfriends are so sweet sometimes. :]

Day twenty-five -  a photo that inspires you

There are so many beautiful photographs out there as well as stuff from my own personal collection, but something that inspires me when I look at it? I am going to have to go with the classic, Van Gough's "A Starry Night" The large exaggerated stars in the sky makes the viewer {or maybe just me in this case} feel at ease to know and feel like they are protecting this sleepy little town. I feel comfortable when I look at this picture and can easily put myself in this sleepy little town.

Music Tuesday - Day 24

This is a tough one friends as I have over 4,000 songs in my iTunes library and over 25GB's worth of material I could chose for this photo... After much deliberation, I came to a conclusion...

Jack's Mannequin. Feel free to check them out, here if you haven't heard their stuff before. Once you have I swear you will be addicted! They are a California band with the lead singer who came over from Something Corporate {another really good option to look into}with a great alternative sound.

Rewind, and it's day 23

I'm back! Did you miss me? I thought so. I am so sorry for taking such a long break and not writing to you, but it was a little bit of a difficult time for me and I just needed some time away from my desk. But I'm here now! And as promised I will finish my 30 day challenge and we shall move on with the future! Excited? Me too.

Sorry to report that my night has been pretty un-eventful. I come home from work and usually end up cleaning my room, running any errands, eating dinner.... However, I finally received my new toy... the IPAD2 {or skinny mini, which is her name}, a couple weeks ago so I have just been setting it up and playing with my new toy!
